Bibliographies "are compilations of citations to resources about a particular topic or area of study. Varying widely in terms of length, bibliographies may comprise a page at the end of a critical article or an entire book-length work. In addition to differences in length, the amount of information provided also varies. Some bibliographies offer citation information only, while others will include annotations that explain or evaluate the intellectual contents of the cited work."
